ADJUSTABLE Mortgage Amortization With Paydown Analysis Spreadsheet

This Spreadsheet lets you quickly understand the components of your monthly ADJUSTABLE mortgage payment and the potential impact of BOTH the adjusted rate (or estimated rates) and paying more each month (or in specific months) . It calculates the updated end date and total interest paid on your loan taking the extra payments and adjusted rates into account.

This version is similar to the other Paydown Analysis spreadsheet, but also allows you to enter the ADJUSTED INTEREST RATE for Adjustable Rate Mortgages in the applicable months. This allows you to enter an estimated adjusted rate or the actual rate once the rate change happens so you can track your loan payments.

Paying more toward your mortgage reduces the total interest paid over the life of the loan and also shortens the life of the loan. This calculator also lets you add other components of your monthly payment so you can analyze the breakdown of your monthly outlay.
